Flexiled is a flexible lead/PVC protective sheeting coated on both sides with a plain washable dark blue PVC.
It is available in rolls 600mm wide, giving a lead equivalent of 0.50mm. It has a variety of uses within small suspended shields, protection to curved surfaces, general masking and in strip form to protect apertures within a solid screen or lead acrylic window.
Uncoated lead/PVC in thinner grades is used in conjunction with Ultraflex® outer covering to produce aprons and panels to offer varying lead equivalents. In a slightly different form with reinforcing, it is used to produce a wide variety of curtains for baggage inspection units.
