Wardray Premise

We have expanded our activities overseas in recent years and have secured prestigious contracts across the globe. Wardray offers a wide range of shielding services including design, calculations, supply and installation. Alternatively, we can offer a supply only service and installation training to overseas staff.

This will be our first RF Cage installation in the Middle East. This very prestigious Ministry of Health Contract at a brand new specialist hospital is being built at Ras Al Khaimah, about 100km north of Dubai. The project includes two Philips Scanners, one of which will be a combined MR/OR suite. This will be the first installation of aluminium cages approved by the Ministry of Health in this region.

This project has also involved an element of design consultancy for the shielding of 25 other rooms, including Brachytherapy and PET/CT.

The new hospital will include 248 beds and medical facilities. The major specialty program elements include oncology, cardiology, a trauma centre, and emergency department. It is due to open in 2012.

In addition to the installation of RF Cages in Ras Al Khaimah, Wardray provided design consultation for PET/CT facilities similar to the drawing on the right.

With our new partner we are installing our first RF cage in Eastern Europe. This private facility at a site in Skierniewice is installing a Siemens 1.5T Scanner similar to the one pictured on the right.

Our active partners are just completing the installation of their 5th RF Cage. This current project is for a GE site in Bundaberg, North of Brisbane. This follows on from four successful installations in Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

Additionally a wide range of MR accessories including fMRI video systems and patient trolleys have also been supplied.

Wardray Premise RF cage design is proving a popular choice for installations around the globe. This unique all British design has the advantage of easily allowing late changes to the room size and structure. Wardray Premise RF cages are also designed to allow for ease of upgrading at a later date causing minimum disruption.

Thanks to the efforts of our local partners our shielding technicians have just completed our second in country radiology installation, this time at a specialist Cardiac Suite at the University of Ibadan.

Our Canadian partner has secured orders for a number of our video systems. They are the early adopters of the new 24 inch LED backlit Video Systems for patient relaxation and comfort while undergoing an MR examination. Recent installations include the William Beaumont Hospital, Troy, Michigan and another at Hurley Medical Centre, Flint, Michigan.
